Don’t trust anyone. Everything usually takes longer than they say.
The lower you put the price of your house, the faster it will sell. It all depends on how low you want to go. You could sell it tomorrow if you “give it away.” But it would still take a few weeks to do all the paperwork.
ITS A BUYERS MARKET….at its worst right now !!!! hold off for a year…at the least.
You’re looking at a 20% discount plus any amount the buyer estimates they would need to spend to make the house ready for resale. This is usually only a good idea for folks that have a rental that tenants or vandals have severely damaged and they don’t have the cash to repair it,
or for someone who inherited a house for free and they just want to dump it quick for a few bucks cause they figure it’s ‘found’ money,
unless you’re about to lose your house through foreclosure you shouldn’t even consider this approach,
The reason investors offer these ‘quick’ purchases is so they can make a quick profit, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, you just need to be aware these folks aren’t doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, they’re doing it to make a buck
good luck
