If I buy a home in Atlanta, Ga. for the same price that my home is worth here ($625,000.00) it would be like buying a million dollar home, if that same Ga. home was here in CA. I would be buying up.Without the million dollar price tag. The only thing that concerns me is that the Alparetta, Ga Real Estate market does not appreciate as fast as CA or many other states.I am also concerned about the crime rate index, which is higher in GA, than were I live in Rancho Cucamong, CA. I am a single parent. We have a lot of friends here in CA, but the only relative here is my elderly mother. However, we do have many relatives on the East coast and in GA as well. I am an educator, and so finding a job should be easy. I also find people, including men to be very friendly. Chances are that I could met someone nice. GA is also very beautiful. So all of the above are the reasons that I am strongly considering moving to Alanta, Ga.
